    Samurai Dynasty is a Travian-like game, like most strategy games on Facebook. As you might guess from the name, it introduces a medieval Japanese theme as a way of distinguishing it from the countless other medieval Europe-themed games in this genre. Samurai Dynasty also uses a more graphically rich interface than is typical for this sort of strategy game, including a play avatar and plenty of useful sidebars in addition to the typical icon animations. In Samurai Dynasty your goal is to develop and defend a thriving city, then build new expansion cities to increase your empire. You can develop up to eight cities.

    Few developers have embraced the challenge of attracting "hardcore" gamers to Facebook quite like Kabam, and now it is once again attempting to court the Starcraft and Command & Conquer crowd with Global Warfare. While Global Warfare doesn't feel terribly different from the studio's earlier outings, its higher emphasis on multiplayer coordination and player versus player combat mark a bold new direction in Kabam's crusade to make Facebook a hardcore platform. But is it enough?

It's effectively Kabam's flagship game, despite featuring the sort of complex grand strategy that people associate with boxed retail games. The new Winter Court expansion adds new content for advanced players who've built up enough power and resources to found their sixth in-game city. Story-wise, the update introduces the "twilight of Camelot" story material from the legends, including characters like Morgan Le Fay and Mordred. Visually, the update introduces Kingdoms of Camelot's first set of new building icons, to match the update's wintery theme.

    The idea of a civilization sim based on the rebuilding of Ancient Rome implicitly delivers a delicious challenge: can Rome be built in a day? It's a standard that any such game should be held to, and any such game should be considered a failure if it's possible. Fortunately, Kabam's Glory of Rome doesn't disappoint in this regard, although some might wonder if it leans too far in the other direction. Indeed, the spans of time needed to succeed in the game have you ready for the Middle Ages after only a few levels.

    I am a nerd. I admit it, so when you add dragon to a title, it immediately shoots up on my cool list, but Dragons of Atlantis doesn't have much dragons. In fact, after several hours of playing, I still did not know the full extent of the dragon's purpose.
