Magic Life Review
If the Harry Potter series has done nothing else, it has definitely given the world a fascination with the idea of being a young wizard. Magic Life attempts to capitalize on this fascination by putting you in the role of a budding apprentice who's just arrived at the curious Islands of Magic. Unfortunately, despite an interesting premise and a ridiculously adorable presentation, Magic Life fizzles out when it comes to the actual gameplay.Gun Bros Review
In sitting down to write this review, I got to thinking about twin-stick shooters and how long they've been around. Really, they've been here since practically the beginning. First getting popular with Robotron 2084 in the arcades. Through the years they've followed us, really coming into their own when games got dual analog sticks to work with. They've also found a natural home on the iPhone, and Gun Bros is one of the finest examples.Paperboy: Special Delivery Review
Paperboy refuses to die, and perhaps we should all be thankful. Born to glorious beginnings as an arcade game controlled with real handlebars in 1984, the game has since witnessed such an incredible number of reincarnations across different platforms that Hindus should embrace it as representative of the concept. After briefly appearing in a failed iPhone outing earlier this year on account of licensing concerns, the world's favorite window-smashing delivery boy has returned in Glu Games' Paperboy: Special Delivery, with story-based gameplay and visuals that largely remain faithful to the original. Sadly, however, unresponsive controls and slightly high price make this a game to avoid.Toyshop Adventures Review
Glu Mobile has decided to make a change in their mobile gaming sales strategy - they're going free! Well, kind of. The "freemium" angle is always interesting, since in the process of giving you something for free they're hoping to entice you to lay down some real cash to go above and beyond the base game. Is Toyshop Adventures such a game?1000: Find ‘Em All Review
By Jim Squires
Everybody loves presents. Getting them, giving them -it's all the same. Presents make everyone's day just a little brighter. That's why we were so thrilled to discover a game that's all about finding gifts that have been hidden in all sorts of places! 1000 Find 'Em All offers up a great blend of GPS and offline gameplay with some charming art and funny writing to round out it's delights. It's so disheartening, then, that the game had its share of weaknesses too.
