Trine 2 Review
If you've never played the first Trine, that's ok - you can dive right into its sequel without much of a problem. That's because Trine 2 shines in its own right as a physics-based side scrolling puzzler with some brisk and easy fighting along the way. You can play alone or with up to two friends online to battle and puzzle your way through the fantastic environments. If you have played Trine, however, I can save you a bunch of time right off the bat: Did you like it? Welll, Trine 2 is more of the stuff you love, and it's just as awesome as the first time around.

Trine was a magical game. A fairly straightforward physics-based platformer at its core, it distinguished itself with eye-popping visuals, a wonderful soundtrack and fairy-tale narration worthy of Peter Falk that made it like nothing so much as a bed-time story in videogame format. So when I heard that Trine 2 is on the way, you better believe I got excited.

A wizard, a thief and a knight walk into a treasure room - stop me if you've heard this one before. In the treasure room is an all-powerful crystal called the Trine, which merges three different souls into one body. It may be uncomfortable for them, but it's fortunate for you. Now you can rotate between these three characters at the press of a button on an adventure that traverses a world of fantasy overrun by the undead.
