    What do you get when you mix Build-A-Lot, Gemini Lost, and My Kingdom for the Princess? Peggle?! No, what were you thinking? Wandering Willows? Closer, but not yet there. All kidding aside, the game I'm talking about is Jack of all Tribes, the newest release by developer DivoGames. With the previously mentioned role models and plenty of unique features and quirky ideas, the game is sure to please casual players of all shades.

    Divo Games (the developers of Be Rich) are back with another building sim called Chieftain Jack, which is set to launch in a few weeks. Chieftain Jack leaves behind the modern buildings of Be Rich for a tropical island setting where Jack - who seems to be a castaway, or maybe a time traveller; it was a bit hard to tell - has to help tribes of primitive people grow their villages and thrive.

Not all of them are present in Sea Journey, a new addition to the battle match-3 genre by DivoGames that lets the player experience thrilling sea battles and quests for gold and treasure. The superb presentation is a plus, while the basic gameplay will remind some gamers of Puzzle Quest. So, is Sea Journey just another clone, or is it as good as the presentation implies?

    It's not hard for a game to be good when it borrows most of its ideas from one of hte most successful franchises in casual gaming. In spite of the clever innovations that building sim Be Rich does bring to the table, its considerable appeal is tempered by the fact that much of what makes it good was lifted directly from Hipsoft's Build-a-lot series.

    Trust us: It's never a good sign when you confuse a game for half a dozen others before you load it up. And certainly, new pattern-matching puzzler Treasures of the Ancient Cavern lives up to expectation in this regard, delivering predictable thrills in a beautifully-packaged, but ultimately largely forgettable attempt to build on the old match-three equation. Nonetheless, to be fair, we should also admit it proves an unexpectedly competent take on an oft-used motif (shifting tiles to group rows of similar objects) that's worth tackling in short spurts.
