Zynga made its name with some twists. In the case of its biggest hits, this often meant just twisting the name of an existing game or tweaking a gameplay element to make a new product out of something that came before. The ailing powerhouse in social and mobile gaming platforms has since expanded to a stable of published content, much of which offers more outside-the-box play. Isn't that a twist.
I find flight simulators dreadfully boring; sue me! (editor's note: don't. Please don't.) There's just something far too aimless about commandeering a virtual plane and going to cool places I'm not actually visiting. Almost like Being Grounded: The Video Game. And yet, when Zynga announced today that one of their first third party partner games would be Crash Lab'sTwist Pilot, I couldn't help but get excited. Why? Because in Twist Pilot you fly a propellor blade with a face.
