In a strange alternate reality, man has already conquered space travel by the mid-19th century. That's the setting of Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World, a new point-and-click adventure from Cateia Games that manages to blend the future and the past into one unique game world. It's also filled to the brim with goofy characters, hilarious dialog, and great cartoon visuals. Unfortunately, the game is also hampered quite a bit by some frustratingly obtuse puzzles that will leave many players scratching their heads, not knowing what to do next.

The game is set in an alternate future where mankind managed to achieve space travel in the early 19th century. Hotel developer Cateia Games is working on a new medieval strategy/simulation game called King's Legacy. Gamezebo has the scoop with screenshots and more info. At first glance, the game looks a lot like Cateia's tropical island-themed sim Shaman Odyssey but with a new Middle Ages theme that replaces straw beach huts with stone castles. The story tells the tale of a young prince who has to fight to regain his kingdom after an evil uncle usurps the throne.
