With this third installment in the fantastic Drawn series, Big Fish continues to set the standard that all other puzzle/adventure games should aspire to. In Trail of Shadows, you meet a grandfather figure speaking to a young girl named Iris. Through his bedtime story, we learn of a young boy with the power to bring his paintings to life. One painting however, was better left in the boy's imagination, as it unleashes a terrible wizard that draws the boy inside and traps him there, ruining the rest of the boy's painted worlds along the way.

Back in the day I used to enjoy importing games from overseas, but not being able to speak the language put a pretty severe limit on the kinds of games I could play correctly. So mahjong, with it's easy to understand rules and no need for reading/writing a different language, was a perfect game to try out. Nowadays mahjong is a mainstay of the casual game world regardless of country, so it's something most of us have been exposed to, and I've played a lot of them. In Hobby Farm, Jill and her husband accidentally stumble upon an abandoned farm, which fortunately turns out as Jill's lifelong dream, a farm at an exotic location. While the storyline is definitely slightly cheesy, the game itself is actually a very solid entry into the casual market.
