Shipwrecks. Both unwanted and unneeded, a mast-shredding gale and deadly whirlpool can throw a wrench into even the saltiest sea dog's voyage. Fortunately for you, however, such a catastrophe results in hours of fun puzzles, which is the case in the match-3 game, Azkend 2.
Have you ever gazed up at the moon and longed to get a better look? Just climb the tallest tree around and get a little closer to the heavens? If you've ever felt (and done) so, then you know how great this can be. Developer 10 Tons seeks to capture this experience with Swingworm, a cute little platformer that never quite manages to feel as rewarding as the real thing.
Grim Joggers. Joining Hands. 10tons Ltd has some given us some pretty great games so far. That said, the developer's next title may very well take the cake. Why? It features "fresh and original worm-physics." If that doesn't get you interested in Swingworm, I don't know what will.
A sequel to the match-3 puzzle game Azkend is on the way from Finnish developer 10tons. Azkend 2 introduces a seafaring adventure with animated background art, scripted story sequences, and several new game modes including one called The Bug Hunt. Watch the teaser trailer behind the cut for a sneak peak at Azkend 2's gameplay and art.
In Joining Hands you're in charge of the Peablins, who believe that as long as you're holding hands while walking through the Whispering Woods then the bogeyman can't get you. So it's up to you to make sure all the Peablins have a hand to hold to solve each level. Contrived? Sure, but it's a puzzle game, so I give them credit for injecting a story into it at all... and I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me smile when I first read it.
Every now and then, we all have bad days. But all it takes to make things better is for someone to hold our hand. Developer 10 Tons Ltd knows this, which is why they're bring us Joining Hands, a new puzzle game for the iPhone that looks both smart and heart-warming.
