Does Zynga ever sleep? Hot off the heels of FarmVille 2‘s release, the company has gone and announced CityVille 2, the forthcoming sequel to their massively popular city management sim. You’ve built all sorts of virtual cities by now, sure, but have you ever built one… in 3D?
Short of updated 3D graphics, details are scarce on what kinds of changes and improvements we can expect to find in CityVille 2. One thing we know for certain, though, is that Zynga will factor in feedback from players, focus groups, forums, play tests, and the current closed beta — they said as much in an announcement. Having not had a monster hit on their hands since the original FarmVille and CityVille, it’s easy to see why they’re putting so much work into polishing this one up.
While we don’t know a release date just yet, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop when one is revealed!
