The App Store has officially served up over 25 billion downloads. The Big 25-000-000-000 went to (get the balloons and noisemakers ready): a download of Where’s My Water that was purchased somewhere in China.

(Rapturous applause.)

The 25 billion app downloads were spread across 315 million iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices owned worldwide. Currently, there are over 550,000 purchasable apps on the App Store, and Apple has paid out more than $4 billion to iOS developers.

Listen, Apple. I need to borrow some money.

Where’s My Water? is an iOS puzzle game featuring the world’s most adorable alligator. The gator’s underwater abode needs some good ol’ fashioned water pressure, and guess whose job it is to make that happen via some good ol’ fashioned digging?

Here’s to 25 billion more downloads.
