Watercolors Hits 1 Million Downloads, Launches on Android

Do you like color-matching? We like color-matching. 999,999 other people like it too. Only 23 days after the game’s launch, the developers at Adonis Software have just shared the good news with Gamezebo: they’ve just hit the 1 million download mark. (CORRECTION: it’s actually closer to 1.5 million, as Adonis has just confirmed that it only took 14 days to reach the 1 million milestone).

To celebrate, they’re opening the game up to the billions of gamers on Android. Watercolors is now available on Google Play for the first time, and just like on iOS, it’s a completely free* offering. (ok, there are in-app purchases, but they’re really optional. You can enjoy everything the game has to offer without spending a dime).

Tiny Tower hits 10 million iOS downloads, gives away premium currency

Tiny Tower's not so tiny any more. Yesterday, Nimblebit's Ian Marsh took to his Twitter to make a startlingly big announcement: the game has now surpassed 10 million iOS downloads. And let's not forget that the game has recently launched on Android, too, so the combined number of downloads is no doubt even higher. So how does a developer celebrate such a milestone? With a giveaway, of course!

$83.3 Million Big Ones

There are two numbers that are big news lately: $700 billion for the US government to bail out Wall Street and $83.3 million venture capital investment in Big Fish Games.Both confuse and intrigue me. I can't fully explain the $700 bail-out (and if I did, I would end up writing a boring and depressing tirade comparing the current administration with the Hoover presidency). But, I can share my thoughts on the $83.3 million that Big Fish Games just raised.
