If you’re a hobbyist game developer looking to take things full time, and you just happen to be fluent in Finnish, Angry Birds developer Rovio wants your application to join Rovio Academy.

A six-month recruitment and training program organized by Rovio, Saranen Consulting and the Finnish Employment and Economic Administration, Rovio Academy is looking to provide ten qualified candidates with the training needed to join the Rovio team as a game programmer. Potential candidates must know C++, have an interest in the games industry, and – of course – speak Finnish.

The six month program kicks off on April 1st, however the application deadline is quickly creeping up. If you want to be considered for a spot, be sure to get your name in the hat before February 20, 2010. For more information or to apply, visit rovioacademy.com.
