Top Flash games honored at The Mochis 2010

Machinarium, Canabalt and PopCap’s Bejeweled Blitz are among the winners of the Mochis 2010, an awards show recognizing some of the best Flash games in the industry created across 2009. Held as part of the Flash Gaming Summit, the awards were open to any game created in 2009 that is Flash-based, including games on destination sites or social networks like Facebook. The Brodie Blog: The Future of Flash Games is Paid?

Yesterday I went to the Flash Games Summit in San Francisco. The day was a definite success (kudos to Mochi Media for putting the conference together). Next year, however, my advice is not to host the conference on a Sunday. I can't think of anything I would rather not do on a Sunday, than work and network all day, even if part of work is … playing games!I did speak with check out a bunch of sessions and speak with a couple of cool flash game companies while at the show. Armor Games’ Daniel McNeely on Flash

If you play a lot of Flash games then it's almost a guarantee that you've seen the familiar clanging-swords-and-shield splash screen belonging to Armor Games.
