The results are in. After three stages and 3000 entrants, Kings Group has revealed the winners of Guns of Glory’s Glory Ambassador competition. The contest, which was run to celebrate the game’s three year anniversary, had a first prize of $20,000 and a coveted community ambassador role.
After a comprehensive review of all the entrants, Kings Group has chosen YouTuber Aevatrex as the grand champion. Second place was awarded to YouTuber NotCasuals, who won $10,000. Third prize went to another YouTuber, Keychain Gaming. They walk away with a prize of $5000.
The month-long celebration of Guns of Glory’s community also saw players creating and sharing their own memes to the game’s million strong Facebook and Discord groups. The focus was on the connections they’ve made and the way that their experiences with the game have changed their life.
The game’s publishing producer shared their own thoughts about the game and its players. “We sincerely thank players all over the world for their love and support to Guns of Glory over the past three years. We hope that through working with the Glory Ambassador, we will find new ways to connect with our amazing community. Three years is just the beginning for Guns of Glory, we hope that the game can last for years to come reaching our ten-year anniversary and beyond.”
Guns of Glory is a multiplayer RTS set in a fantasy world filled with steampunk airships and baroque fashions. It’s inspired by the likes of The Three Musketeers and sees you building a castle, equipping your airships and training up an army to defend your land from invasion.
The game has been downloaded more than 80 million times, and has been in the top 3 mobile strategy games since 2018.
