With a feature film on the way, developer Funtactix has announced that it will be releasing a social game based on the popular Hunger Games franchise.
As reported by Inside Social Games, the game will launch on March 23 alongside the film. In the game, which has been dubbed The Hunger Games Adventures, players will be able to explore the fictional nation of Panem that the universe is based in, as well as interact with notable characters from the film.
“We know that our primary responsibility is to create a version of Panem that fans can jump into and explore,” Funtactix CEO Sam Glassenberg told ISG. “When we make the hardcore fans happy we know we’ve succeeded.”
Funtactix was most recently behind another Facebook film adaptation, launching Mission Impossible: The Game late last year.
