Epic Seven publisher Smilegate Megaport has just announced that the hotly anticipated finals of the Global Creator Invitational Season 2 event will take place on December 18th.

That’s this Sunday.

Before we get into all that, we’ll just remind you that Epic Seven is a highly acclaimed, visually stunning mobile turn-based RPG from developer Super Creative. It sees you summoning and upgrading heroes and engaging in PvP battles with strategic elements.

The Global Creator Invitational Season 2 is set to run for a total of four days, having started with the first quarterfinal match on December 10th.

The big finale will be livestreamed online from 03:00 UTC on the official Epic Seven YouTube and Twitch channels.

And to ensure that the greatest possible audience can join the fun, it will be shown in four languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese.

Who’s taking part in the finals? We still don’t know. That’s set to be decided on December 17th, when the four semi-finalists will go head to head.

There will be up to eight pre-bans in the semi-final, and up to 12 in the final starting two in the first round of battles, which will massively shake up the strategies on display.

Once the dust has settled, the winning team will walk away with 80,000 Skystone.

In case you’re still catching up, the Global Creator Invitational Season 2 is an international contest in which 32 Epic Seven content creators compete in real-time arena battles.

This year’s field comes from all around the world, including the US, Portugal, France, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

Unlike Season 1, team leaders were able to select their teams without region or language restrictions, leading to a much more international competition.

During this weekend’s festivities Smilegate Megaport will hold live streamed events including Epic Match Prediction and Twitch Drops, letting you get involved from the comfort of your own home.

Check out the office Global Creator Invitational website for more info.

And follow the action on YouTube and Twitch.
