For fans of dark romance Otome games, you’re in luck. The demo for Killer Chat is now available to download and play. Although the full release date is currently unknown, fans can get a sneak peek into early gameplay.
You are a reporter by day and an aspiring writer by night. To help you write, you start asking questions on the dark web. Perhaps asking questions such as how to kill someone, how to bury a body, and how to hide from the law aren’t the best things to ask on the dark web.
As you’re searching, you get an invitation from Error! Unknown to join a server (Mystic Messenger, anyone?). All the message says is: “Don’t be so obvious smh You’re Gonna Get Caught.”
Out of interest, you join the chatroom. Only to find out it is a serial killer chatroom. Your only choice is to pretend you are also a serial killer so the others don’t become suspicious and kick you out. Or worse, kill you.
You start to get to know some of the killers in the chatroom and soon discover that they are nice and also… hot. You stick around and, overtime, open up to the idea of dating them. Friendship routes are also available!
With balancing writing a book, your day job, pretending to be a killer whilst talking to them, and avoiding the police… you have a lot on your plate! It’s up to you if you live happily ever after or make the news as a gruesome corpse.
Players can also customize their character and change their body, face, eyes, ears, hair, and skin. Making the gameplay more immersive and personal. You can also update and post to your in-game profile and write a biography, message, and status.
