Hit mobile game Last Fortress: Underground has just kicked off a second collaboration with outrageously entertaining superhero show The Boys.

The previous collaboration took place this summer, and saw Butcher, Hughie, and Starlight joining the fight on the side of the good guys. This time around the superpowered newcomers are A-Train, Soldier Boy, and Homelander.

Before we lift the lid on the latest collaboration, here’s a little background on Last Fortress for those of you who haven’t yet sampled its gruesome delights.

Set in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, Last Fortress: Underground is a survival strategy game that takes place in a vast underground fortress containing the last huddled remnants of humanity.

You play as their commander, and your responsibilities include scavenging, expanding your shelter with new facilities, and managing a vast array of specialized personnel such as chefs, doctors, and scientists.

It wouldn’t be a zombie apocalypse without some combat, of course, and that means you’ll have to assemble your heroes into perfectly balanced assault teams, taking advantage of unique synergies and abilities.

This second The Boys collaboration picks up pretty much where the last one left off. Vought, under the cover of Christmas, is planning another assault, and A-Train, Soldier Boy, and Homelander are joining the fray.

But on whose side?

This latest Last Fortress collaboration comes with a ton of events, both in-game and on community channels, allowing you to win some fabulous rewards. For example, you can nab yourself a free Starlight just by checking in.

There are over 70 limited-time items, too, including a new fortress skin, an exclusive new vehicle, and more. You can admire your haul in The Boys Collection Room.

The Last Fortress x The Boys collaboration is happening right now. To find out exactly what’s involved, visit the game’s official Facebook page, Discord channel, and website.
