Lords Mobile is all about tactically rich warfare involving millions of other people. It’s about diplomacy, statecraft, resource management, and military might. It’s not about story.
Except it is.
While Lords Mobile isn’t the kind of game you’d associate with narrative arcs, every session creates its own story. There are twists and turns, betrayals, unlikely victories, and all the ingredients of the finest epic tales, right there in the gameplay.
And IGG wants to hear those epic tales, through the upcoming Lords Tales event.
Every Lord and Lady has a story to tell – a chronicle of their journey from insignificant underling to world-conquering tyrant, with all the glorious triumphs and galling missteps that happened along the way.
Hell, even if you’ve only managed to become a slightly less insignificant underling at this point, you’re bound to have seen your fair share of interesting stuff.
It’s time to put down your sword, pick up your pen, and start writing.
From October 30th to November 11th you’ll be able to submit your story to IGG. Stories will then be reviewed by the team before going out to a public vote. Other players can vote on these stories, and the most popular authors will be showered with rewards.
The top 100 will all win an exclusive Grand Throne Castle Skin, a limited edition Lords Cube, and a Noble Pack. And if you’re in a guild, your fellow guild members will each get a Grand Pack.
You’ll get a Scholar Pack just for reaching the voting phase, and you’ll get a Citizen Pack for voting. Better still, you get one per vote, and you can vote as many times as you like.
There are rules, of course. Entries must be 100% original, without infringing on any copyrights. You can use a co-writer, but you need to give them credit, and you must submit your story through your own account. Once you’ve submitted your story you can’t edit it. However, you can submit a new story which will override the old one – if you need to!
