New iPhone Games This Week is a new feature on Gamezebo. Be sure to check back every Friday to discover the latest and greatest games that have just surfaced on the App Store!

  • Call of Atlantis – PC ports don’t usual fare so well on the iPhone, but Call of Atlantis is a match-3 offering that manages to be even better than the original. (Review)
  • Phoenix Spirit – Super Metroid meets Rocky & Bullwinkle in this adventure about a flying squirrel – but as we learn in our review, some squirrels just weren’t meant to fly. (Review)
  • Pocket Creatures – Pet simulations get an adorable open-world makeover in Pocket Creatures, though our review found there wasn’t nearly enough to interact with here. (Review)
  • Shrek Forever After – The latest Shrek movie is in theatres today, and you can play along right on your iPhone! This film tie-in offers up platforming gameplay that’s appropriate for the whole family.
  • Split/Second – Disney’s recently released console racer gets an iPhone edition, but can it possibly live up to its bigger brother?
  • Steam Pirates – Luc Bernard’s long-awaited RPG has finally arrived, setting players lose in a word of pirates, pugs and rockstars.
  • Strike Knight – Love puck bowling? The developers behind Paper Toss return with their next free offering, and this time it brings they bring the spirit of the pub with them. (Review)
