Steam announces 2013’s first batch of Greenlight-approved titles

We at Gamezebo are big fans of Steam’s Greenlight service, as evidenced by our recurring Greenlight Spotlight feature. So whenever Valve announces that a new batch of games are heading to Steam, we throw confetti around and binge on cupcakes. This is the fourth time we’ve done this, and boy do our stomachs hate us.

But you didn’t come here to read about stomachaches (right?) – you wanted to know which games made the cut. We can tell you that! But first, it’s only fair that we build up some hype for the big reveal. It’s a great batch of games, really, with at least a few names you’re likely familiar with. And as a bonus, a couple pieces of software made the cut, both of which appear to be pretty useful if you’re looking to break into game design.

Okay, enough with the hype. Here are all the Greenlight titles making their way to Steam:

Games:

Software:

  • articy:draft | Game Design Tool
  • GroBoto – Modeling App

Sadly, we don’t have any release dates for these games or pieces of software. But you can expect them to show up sporadically in the months ahead. Hope you like surprises.
