Social Games at GDC: A Roundup

Game designer Soren Johnson, via Gamasutra, has written an excellent in-depth roundup of the social gaming goings-on at this year’s Game Developer’s Conference. The consensus is that this year’s conference was obsessed with Facebook games, whether the focus was on hot-shot Facebook startups like Zynga or the fact that traditional game developers like Sid Meier (of Civilization fame) are wading into the new platform.
