Lords Mobile is one of the biggest success stories in the history of mobile gaming. In just a couple of years IGG’s strategy MMO has come from nowhere to become an unstoppable juggernaut of multiplayer strategy hijinks.

In bare numbers, it has over 250 million players, almost four and a half million reviews on Google Play and an average user rating of 4.4.

And now the game is coming to PC. IGG has just got in touch to let us know that Lords Mobile will be available to download on Steam at some point soon.

In case you’ve never dabbled, Lords Mobile is a strategy game on an epic scale, with an epic storyline to match. The Emperor is dead, and his death has left a vacancy that numerous lords are competing to fill in a never-ending global war of all against all.

To make matters worse, monsters have risen from the underworld, no doubt attracted by the carnage topside.

You have to recruit soldiers, heroes, and warlords, as well as forging alliances and expanding your territory through bloody, bloody conquest. All the while you have your own castle to defend and upgrade.

It’s not all about swords, spears, and magical attacks though. Like a real-world emperor you can also achieve world domination through diplomacy and trade.

However, some violence is inevitable – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Details of the PC launch are still thin on the ground, though the Steam store listing confirms that the PC version will be cross-platform – so you’ll be able to play on your computer against an opponent on their mobile.

We confidently predict that Lords Mobile for PC going to be exactly like the mobile version but with a bit of extra spit and polish. You can’t play it yet, but you can add it to your Steam wishlist here.
