According to Japanese newspaper Nikkei, Sega is looking to test the North American social network waters starting with the release of Sega Play! Baseball, which is currrently live on Facebook, and soon to be followed by Sega Play! Football on game-focused social network hi5. The release of Sega Play! Football will make Sega the first large-scale Japanese developer on hi5.
Other, unannounced, releases are also expected in the future as Sega continues its attempt to extend its social network reach across the globe.
