SEGA Genesis classics coming to PC

By Erin Bell |

The SEGA Genesis videogame console was home to some classic games and franchises, but if you’re like me your Genesis was unplugged a long time ago and is now gathering dust in a box in the basement. That’s ok, because SEGA has decided to re-release a wide selection of SEGA Genesis games on the PC via digital distribution.

The first batch of titles being made available consists of fan favorites such as Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin, Sonic 3DBlast, Gain Ground, Crack Down, Comix Zone, Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi, Space Harrier II and Vectorman.

The games will start at just $2.99 to download, and will be available starting June 1 from Steam and other digital distribution networks.
