Royal Envoy is now available for Mac and will soon be coming to other platforms as well, according to Playrix Entertainment. The Mac version of the Royal Envoy Collector’s Edition can be downloaded now from Playrix’s website.

“It’s a great pleasure for Playrix to introduce our hit product to the Mac devotees”, said Igor Bukhman, Playrix’s President, Products. “This is the first strategy/TM game in our portfolio and in general has been one of the most ambitious Playrix projects to date. I sincerely hope that it will be received just as warmly by the Mac audience, and I can promise that there will be more platforms to follow for Royal Envoy.”

Bukhman didn’t say which platforms Playrix had in mind for Royal Envoy specifically. Last year, however, the company announced plans to expand its portfolio onto iPhone, Nintendo Wii/DS and other consoles and handhelds. The company has also dabbled in Facebook games with a social version of its popular match-3/aquarium sim Fishdom.

Royal Envoy invites players to set off on an adventurous voyage across Islandshire as they take the King’s challenge to save the land of countless islands from the merciless forces of nature. The player’s mission is to construct and upgrade homes and buildings for the island citizens and ultimately become the chief city planner of Islandshire.
