As Diner Dash on Facebook continues to pick-up steam, another Playfirst game is being shut down. The developer has announced that as of April 28, Chocolatier: Sweet Society on Facebook will no longer be playable.
“As with many Boutique shops, Chocolatier is closing its doors,” the developer wrote on its blog. “The game is no longer performing at a level that it can continue to be supported, which has prompted us to make this difficult decision.”
According to AppData, Sweet Society currently has a little over 100,000 monthly active users. In comparison, Diner Dash has more than 2.3 million. And since Sweet Society is the only game to use the PlayFunds virtual currency, users will need to spend any remaining PlayFunds before the 28th to get any use out of them.
