Kotone Shiomi Returns in the Persona 3 Reload Hero Trailer!

Persona 3 Reload will only feature Kotone Shiomi – or “Hero”. It’s admittedly a controversial decision that has angered a lot of the original fanbase, let’s push that aside for now! Today we’re focusing on the exciting new trailer that gives us a glimpse into what we can expect from the remake. The Persona 3 Reload Hero Trailer still holds the charm of the 2006 version, but with a new look reminiscent of Persona 5.

A Formula For Success

If you’ve ever played a Persona game, you know the drill. You’re a student who wields mysterious powers via their “Persona”, and you’re tasked with taking control of their life as they balance their school life with their secret one! Spend your time wisely, be picky with who you interact with, and the game will unfold into a perfect example of what a JRPG truly is.

A lot of the newer players were introduced to the franchise through the popularity of Persona 5, and if you haven’t tried Persona 3 or 4 yet, you’ll find a strong sense of familiarity. You can wander around the in-game map, go to restaurants, get a job, and study for your exams – all whilst keeping the secret of your Persona abilities close to your chest. That is the case until you meet your likeminded companions! While Kotone has been axed from the remake, we at least get to see Junpei and Yukari.

The game itself is due to release in 2024 on February 2, so we still have quite a while to wait for the finished product! While you’re waiting, why not take a look at some of our guides. We’ve got a Wuthering Waves tier list, Waven classes guide, and a Genshin Impact Lynette Build guide.
