Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is 300 days old.

To celebrate this momentous milestone, the game is getting a 300-Day Celebration event, a content update containing a clever new Newbie Support System, new servers in Asia and North America, and more.

Before we get into all that, let’s remind ourselves why Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds deserves a party.

Developed by Level 5 and Studio Ghibli, two absolute titans of the gaming and animation worlds, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is the latest addition to the hugely popular Ni no Kuni series, and the first to appear on mobile.

This brand new chapter sees you entering the Ni no Kuni universe through a virtual reality game called Soul Divers. Once you’re there you’ll embark on a huge and varied journey through a vast open world that looks just like a movie, whether you’re playing on mobile or PC.

Basically, it’s great – and it just got greater, thanks in no small part to the introduction of the Newbie Support System.

As you might have guessed, the Newbie Support System is designed to get new players through the early stages of the game as quickly and smoothly as possible.

To that end, there are now Swift Solutions errands and Conquest missions. Completing these allows you to level-up rapidly as you rake in rewards and XP.

There are Bounty Keeper rewards to claim, too, along with First Clear Rewards for completing each dungeon, and Training Points for fighting in the Duel Yard.

The list goes on, but the upshot is that if you start playing Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds now you’ll level-up much faster than the players who went before.

On top of that there are check-in rewards for checking in over 28 days, and a special Roulette event, allowing you to spin a roulette wheel for a chance to win a whole range of rewards.

If you’ve been on the fence so far, this is clearly the best possible moment to give Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds a shot.

You can download it for free right now on the Google Play Store, the App Store, or PC
