Independent game developer Nitrome has launched “Nitrome Touchy,” an iOS app (coming later to Android) that converts your iDevice into a controller for browser games. While other companies have announced similar software along with the caveat that the games will follow, Nitrome has released the app with ten games already available, and an additional twenty set to launch within the next 6 months.

Nitrome is one of the more prolific indie studios around, with over 100 games currently under their belt. Vibrant pixelated graphics are kind of their calling card, which the ten games optomized for Touchy will give you a pretty good taste of.
The free app comes with one game included, along with the option to pick up the rest via in-app purchase.
