New Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land DLC is brimming with evil

Red Wasp Design has announced new DLC for Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land. Titled “Kaul’s Diary,” it puts players in the role of the evil Docktor Kaul and his league of minions. This add-on marks quite the departure from the main game, seeing as how Kaul was an antagonist throughout it. But, hey, being the bad guy in a video game can be a lot of fun sometimes.

“While it is fun fighting zombies, we figured it would also be fun controlling zombies… and in Kaul’s Diary, that is exactly what you get to do,” said designer Tomas Rawlings in a press release. It’s a hard line of logic to argue with, really, and it sounds like a great piece of content for fans of the game who yearn for more. And given said game’s caliber of quality, I have to imagine a whole lot of people fit that bill.

The DLC is available now for iOS, and release on other platforms is “expected to follow soon.”
