Guilty admission: I haven’t played StarCraft II yet. I know, I know – it’s been on my “I really need to get around to that” list since 2010, and I just… haven’t. But if the cool things being done in the Galaxy Editor are any indication, I should really try to rectify that soon.

For example. Modder ‘Greythepirate’ has created Rogue Star, a turn-based RPG inside of StarCraft II.

I can’t even imagine the amount of work that must have gone into this, but knowing that it exists – and that other people must be making some equally cool projects in the StarCraft II community – is reason enough to finally give this one a download.

Starcraft II owners can download this one directly from the Battle.net Arcade. Want to try it for free? StarCraft II Starter Edition is a thing, and you can access the Arcade from that.

Jim Squires is the Editor-in-Chief of Gamezebo. Everything you see passes his eyes first, so we like to think of him as "the gatekeeper of cool stuff." He likes good games, great writing, and just can't say no to a hamburger. Also, he is not a bear.
