Meteorfall – Journey is barely a year old but that hasn’t stopped developer Slothwerks working on a sequel. Meterfall: Krumit’s Tale is now in active development and expands on the original in numerous different ways.

It features the same characters and art style, and still focuses on card-based gameplay but the sequel expands the experience by introducing a grid to battle on. Because nothing screams complexity like a grid.

Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale Launches November 1 on Steam

At its heart, it’s still a roguelike deck builder though, and you’ll still battle through a variety of dungeons, collecting cards and creating your own full on build.

Everything’s basically just bigger. There are more cards, more visual flourishes, perks, characters, and a bunch of secrets to uncover. We just wish we could play it right now.

Sadly, it’s going to take some time though. The planned release is November 1 but that’s just on Steam. The mobile version will follow shortly after, but there’s not even a rough estimate right now.

You can check out the Steam page right now by following the link at the top of this page. We’ll let you know as soon as we learn more about the mobile release.
