Gamezebo is at GDC this year, catching up with our favourite mobile games developers. Yesterday, we caught up with Lilith Games, the talented developer behind Art of Conquest, Soul Hunters, Isoland 2, Abi, and Rise of Civilisations.
More recently though, Rise of Civilisations has relaunched as Rise of Kingdoms alongside new civilisations and content. The strategy game has been going for a good few years now, but there might not have been a better time to get into it than now.
Lilith is also working on AFK Arena, its next huge release. Here you’ll command an enormous army of heroes from four different factions. Each character has its own unique abilities, so creating a solid combination of heroes is key.
Your heroes will then get to work on your behalf, battling enemies, looting gear, and progressing through the endless Arcane Labyrinth. That’s the location of the game, which takes place in the Peaks of Time.
In total, there are 44 different heroes to collect as you progress, and you’ll train them up from mere recruits to hardened warriors. You can also form a guild and play with friends – or even make friends from across the globe. Distance is no obstacle in AFK Arena.
AFK Arena has soft launched in several territories, so you might be able to grab it right now from the App Store or Google Play. It will launch globally later this year across all platforms.
