Indie developer Fireline Games is getting ready to show their upcoming game during Steam Next Fest, which runs until June 22nd, 2026. It’s called Leafy Corner, and players can try out the latest demo now. You get to manage your own little plant shop in the game.

Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game will get its full release on July 30th, 2026. When it launches, you can pick it up on Steam for Windows, macOS, and Steam Deck, as well as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox on PC.

What’s the gameplay?

You take over a cosy plant store, fill it with greenery, and spend your time growing, selling, and caring for real-life houseplants. You help customers find the plants they’re looking for and take care of orders. On the side, you also beautify your shop, building up a reputation as the go-to plant expert.

In the new Leafy Corner demo, you grow plants and discover different variegations as you look after them. Completing tasks unlocks additional plants, pots, and decorative items. Character customisation is included, too.

You grow leaf by leaf as you care for the plants. Customers also won’t always make things easy. Some arrive with unusual requests or vague descriptions, so the challenge comes from figuring out exactly which plant fits what they’re looking for.

The complete version will include more than 100 plants and opportunities to expand the shop. You can unlock different shelves, pots, furniture pieces, and decorative items, then mix and match the colours.

If you love cosy games which don’t have hardcore management systems, deep economic simulations, and staff hiring mechanics, then you might like Leafy Corner. It’s just a relaxing shop management game with no lore running in the background. Check out the Leafy Corner demo on Steam.
