Kingdom Hearts Missing Link announcements have been few and far between in recent weeks. However, thanks to a tweet by the Kingdom Heart: Union X’s Japanese Twitter account, we now have a small update.

So, What’s the Update?

When I say a small update, I mean barely an update at all. However, it’s nice to see the game being talked about again! Kingdom Hearts: Union X shut down quite a while ago, but it looks like the Twitter account for the unsuccessful mobile game will be rebranded for the release of Kingdom Hearts Missing Link.

The posted tweet showcases a sort of construction site in Scala Ad Caelum. Not only has the Union X Twitter account posted a slight teaser for the upcoming game, but it’s also changed its handle, profile picture, profile banner, and username to match Missing Link.

Is There Any Further Information?

In terms of more solid information about the release of Kingdom Hearts Missing Link, we sadly don’t have anything to share. The image on the official Twitter account doesn’t showcase a potential release date or any further information about the mobile game.

Still, it’s nice to see that the game is still in development and isn’t going to be canned just yet. While Union X wasn’t particularly successful, I hope to see Missing Link as a more refined and improved mobile entry into the long-running beloved franchise.

In fact, it’s been around 9 months since we last received any updates regarding Kingdom Hearts Missing Link – which is an extremely long time when you think about it. This is probably due to the development team being hard at work behind the scenes.

However, it’s always a good day when we get at least a little glimpse of what to expect from the launch. The only thing we know at the moment, is that the title will be available on both Android and iOS devices.
