King.com brings Bubble Witch Saga and Candy Crush Saga to Android

Hot off the heels of publishing Bubble Witch Saga and Candy Crush Saga on iOS, King.com has announced that both games are now available on Android. This marks the third platform the games are playable across, meaning players can fire them up on iOS, Android or Facebook, and continue playing them elsewhere with their save intact.

Hot off the heels of publishing Bubble Witch Saga and Candy Crush Saga on iOS, King.com has announced that both games are now available on Android. This marks the third platform the games are playable across, meaning players can fire them up on iOS, Android or Facebook, and continue playing them elsewhere with their save intact.

It’s a logical progression for the company, whose game Bubble Witch Saga was one of the first to offer synchronized saves across Facebook and iOS. “We’re fulfilling a promise to our users who want to play their favorite King.com games whenever and wherever they want,” CEO Riccardo Zacconi said in a press release. 

The company also announced intentions to expand its employee base, possibly even doubling it in 2013. With this new man (and woman) power, they intend to offer even more games with cross-platform play, which will ideally put a stop to all the petty arguments waged between iOS and Android users about which platform is better. Or at least we can dream.
