Yesterday we reported on two new games from two big publishers that were making their way to the Facebook. The first of these, Poker Blitz, has now surfaced.

Poker Blitz offers up a single player poker experience reminiscent of the under-a-minute gameplay style of Bejeweled Blitz. You’ll compete against a virtual opponent, trying to win as many hands as you can in under a minute. The game seems to live up to its “poker for the masses” promise by offering a simple at-a-glance percentage to let you know how likely you are to win a hand, as well as fun power-ups and a character creation system ripped right out of FarmVille.

Our only disappointment at this early stage is that the game wouldn’t load in the Google Chrome browser. We’ve tested the game in both Firefox and Internet Explorer as well, and it ran just fine in those. If you’re having trouble getting it to run, be sure to switch to another browser. Hopefully this is just a bug that Zynga will fix soon.

Despite technical difficulties, Poker Blitz seems to offer up an interesting take on the poker formula that seems to be worth checking out. Don’t just take our word for it – ante up for yourself and let us know what you think of Poker Blitz in our forums.
