Interactive and DC Entertainment have announced today that the iOS version of their popular superhero-themed fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us will be receiving another brand new in-game Challenge Mode event starting today. The event is called the General Zod Challenge, and it follows in the success and popularity of last month’s well-received Batgirl Challenge.

The event is called the General Zod Challenge, and it follows in the success and popularity of last month’s well-received Batgirl Challenge.
Much like last month’s challenge, the General Zod Challenge will task players with competing in a number of exclusive and time-dependent character battles, and if they manage to conquer them all before the event period ends, then they’ll be rewarded with a special Gold Character Card of General Zod that can’t be acquired anywhere else. You can catch a glimpse of the General Zod Gold Character Card right there on the bottom of this page, so you’re fully aware of all the sheer awesomeness that you’ll be working towards for the rest of this month.
The Injustice: Gods Among Us General Zod Challenge kicks off today, August 8, and is set to run until August 26, so you’ll have plenty of time to try your hand at winning the coveted new Gold Character Card. Which reminds me, it’s probably time I go practice some superhero combos myself, so I’ll be able to get my General Zod on as soon as possible!
