Believe it or not, Lords Mobile is three years old. That’s 21 in dog years, 504 in mouse years, and an incredible 1000 years of age in the fly world. In human years it’s three.

To celebrate this important anniversary milestone, Lords Mobile developer IGG is holding a host of events. We’ll tell you all about those in a bit. First, a refresher.

Lords Mobile is a huge, wildly successful strategy MMO for mobile. It won coveted Google Play Awards in 2016 and 2017, and was among the biggest selling games of 2018.

It’s become a huge hit basically, and is one of IGG’s top games. It’s been one of the top strategy titles for 19 consecutive months, and also been featured on the App Store and Google Play several times.

Set in a fantasy kingdom full of monsters, heroes, and bitterly feuding factions, it sees you building up your city and setting out to conquer the world.

Every gameplay mode you’ve come to expect from the strategy MMO genre is present and correct here, not least because Lords Mobile is one of the games that led you to expect them.

You can play single-player, marching your way through the story campaign and a variety of PvE modes, or you can take on other humans in the arena.

Plus, there’s plenty of co-op action to get your teeth into, including epic clan wars where you and your army of best buds face off against your sworn enemies.

Or, if all the swordplay is getting too stressful, you can concentrate on cooperation and trade. But that would make you a wimp.

So that’s Lords Mobile. Now let’s talk about the third anniversary celebrations.

There’s a nice little talk show, which you can watch on Facebook, but more importantly there’s a series of ten offline events taking place in various cities throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

These events will see local players meeting up to play the game, get free goodies, socialise, and so on. The first one is happening this March in Japan, so keep your ears to the ground to find out if there’s going to be an event near you.
