Tactics are great, but you know what’s even better? ROBOT Tactics. So naturally we’re excited to play Game Hollywood’s Robot Tactics X, a gacha strategy-RPG featuring mecha battles along with a colorful cast of anime characters.
Currently in open beta, Robot Tactics X is shaping up to be one of the hottest gacha games of 2022, thanks in part to its spectacular turn-based battles between a dizzying array of gigantic metal warriors, all rendered in stunning 3D.
Robot Tactics X is, of course, the latest game in the popular Robot Tactics series. It sees you building mechas from more than 100 different components using a unique and customisable assembly system, and then pitting these mechas against each other in robotic duels.
Battles are turn-based and highly tactical. Robot Tactics X boasts a unique chessboard-style gameplay system, forcing players to approach combat strategically and think several moves ahead.
In this latest instalment of the series, terrain has an impact on how battles play out, and different races have their own countering abilities, adding a couple of additional layers of strategy.
And there’s an intricate storyline, too, featuring original characters created by an army of top illustrators from around the world.
Robot Tactics X has just smashed past 100,000 pre-registrations on its official website. As a result, all those eager robot combatants have been showered with rewards including Normal Stamina Potion x5, Dye x5, Normal Material Box x5, Adv. Dye x10, and ten Recruit Vouchers.
