It’s no secret that Vtubers are taking over streaming platforms. With the success of Holocure, a fanmade game based on Hololive, we’ve got a new contender in the making. HoloParade is a tactical tower defense game that features your favourite members of Hololive, and it’s due to release on December 1!

Similarly to Holocure, the in-game gacha system in HoloParade does not require any monetary purchases. By playing the game, you’ll actively receive gacha tickets, which can then be used to collect new characters for your team. One of the most notable features within the recruitment gacha is the option to select your preferred character out of two each time you pull!
Before I dive into the main mechanics, the Hololive office offers fun mini-games to help you earn tons of coins that are used to upgrade your characters. It’s a great way to progress without having to burn yourself out from the main tower defense gameplay! You can also access the gallery and trophy pages from the office screen, which both feature a neat little recollection of your obtained characters and achievements so far.
Each member of Hololive can take to the battlefield with a variety of combat animations and voice lines. HoloParade plays very differently from Holocure, but if you enjoy that game, you’re sure to like this one too! Parade alongside your helpful minions as you fend off the enemies across a range of 2D side-scrolling maps.
These adorable minions will play an instrument as they walk beside you (hence the ‘Parade’), which can summon the ‘Symphony Effect’ depending on which instruments are being used during a run. Your characters and minions can also be upgraded via the Parade Formation screen, with brand-new unlockable skills and stats. Equip suitable Support Cards, select your Hololive member, and head out to capture the enemy base!
