Have you ever wanted to throw a man in a wheelchair down a flight of stairs? Do you crave the spectacle of a parent and child falling to their deaths on a bike? Then you probably need to speak to somebody about that.

Or maybe you’ve just been playing Happy Wheels online, the outrageous physics-based casual game in which you have to help a rickety ragdoll human on a wheeled contraption reach the end of a perilous course in one piece.

You’re in good company if you have been playing it. Happy Wheels has gained a massive following thanks to its hilarious, gory take on casual gameplay.

The levels are all user generated, created with a comprehensive and easy to use tool that’s accessible via the main menu. It’s a giant box of toys, with multiple building materials, and objects such as springs, bombs, fans, dinner tables, and countless others miscellanea.

Think LittleBigPlanet, in terms of the sheer diversity of the environments these components allow you to create.

But if you’re not the sort of player who likes to tinker there’s plenty of fun to be had with the available selection of levels created by other users.

There’s a huge amount of variety on display. Some are near impossible, and apparently only exist to give you the opportunity to maim a virtual person over and over again. Others are more like puzzles, while others still resemble Trials courses. They range from surreal to, well, slightly less surreal.

They all have one thing in common, though: multiple hilarious, bone-crunching, wince-inducing fatal crashes.

Brilliantly, your turn doesn’t automatically end when you come off your vehicle, so you can often still shuffle along the ground like a gory caterpillar after you crash, blood spurting from the stump at the end of your leg. Sounds fun, right?  Yes it does, and you play it right here!
