Harebrained, the studio behind the Shadowrun Trilogy, has dropped a proper story trailer for its upcoming title GRAFT. This body horror game takes grafting to another level. It revolves around exploring dangerous environments, scavenging resources, and making every bullet count.

A nightmare trek across the Arc, which is a dying space station and is the size of a continent

If you manage to survive long enough, you’ll be extracting forgotten technologies. You uncover secrets, cross huge chasms, get lost inside self-replicating labyrinths, and dig through techno-catacombs while trying to find a way out.

You play as Tiger, who wakes up aboard the Arc with only fragments of his previous life on Earth. He remembers wheels rolling over hot asphalt, a cold metal bed, and Tavora, his lover. Everything else is buried beneath the strange memories and transformations waiting for him inside the station.

Ancient feral experiments, grotesque abominations, and ruthless agents controlled by a mad AI are all hunting you across the Arc. So, you need to gather resources, craft supplies, and decide when to fight and when to avoid combat altogether.

You’re not wandering around alone because there are other survivors scattered across the Arc. But everyone who’s still alive is dangerous, manipulative, or outright treacherous. And that includes you, too, actually.

The coolest mechanic of GRAFT is the grafting system

Your own body becomes your greatest weapon. You tear Grafts from defeated enemies or discover them hidden throughout the Arc, then attach them to yourself. That unlocks new abilities and lets you customise your build however you want.

But it isn’t just your body that’s changing. Every new Graft comes with strange cravings, half-remembered memories, and impulses that don’t seem to belong to you. You have to decide what those memories and desires actually mean for your character.

You can wishlist GRAFT on Steam.
