Huge news for Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium fans! The latest update aims to tackle some of the major issues observed during the ongoing Open-Beta test.

I understand that beta tests are helpful in ironing out the game, on top of generating some hype. But, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium has been notorious for receiving massive criticism during all of its tests, be it the bland gameplay or the horrendous element system.

Thankfully, the developers have been quite adamant about listening to player feedback and implementing helpful solutions to counter all of the issues the audience has faced.

Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium – First Major OBT Update

On October 7, the first ever large update for Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium arrived in the live version of the closed beta. This dropped alongside extensive patch notes.

Now, I, being an avid gacha gamer, can understand the pain of fellow gamers when it comes to games being stingy. But, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium took it to a whole new level with players taking the path of review bombing, out of frustration.

Thankfully, the patch notes do offer a host of remedial changes that ensure we will get a steady supply of summoning currency, and a streamlined reward distribution sequence. To sum it up, you can expect to get more rewards now!

Almost Like a New Game Altogether

It feels like GFL 2 has evolved completely after the recent update, according to many players currently testing it out. We are all for shorter loading times, a menace that was plaguing the game for a long time.

Gameplay elements such as storyline, battle pass, Dormitory Doll interactions, and Tarkov mode have also been optimised. You can expect a higher quality gameplay experience in all aspects of the game.

I personally love the changes made to “Strategic Mode” that helps navigating the battlefield to switch out characters. For more Girls’ Frontline content, take a look at our Girls’ Frontline: Neural Cloud tier list!
