GamerSafe, a recently launched service that allows online Flash gamers access to achievements, universal save games, and micro-transactions, has just announced a partnership with the virtual payments company Social Gold. The partnership will allow GamerSafe players to make purchases without having to leave their games, unlike some of the competition.

“Our platform provides a completely in-Flash payments solution where players have a seamless purchasing experience because they remain in the game during the transaction,” said Vikas Gupta, founder and CEO of Social Gold. “By working directly with GamerSafe, we aim to provide their community of developers with a payments solution that will increase conversion and generate repeat purchases.”

GamerSafe co-founder Chris Hughes believes that this seamless experience will benefit not only players, but the GamerSafe community of more than 10,000 publishers. “By enabling end users to make payments directly in-game, we believe that Social Gold will provide our partners with a better means to monetization and conversion, and will also provide a more immersive, enjoyable experience for players.”
