The TV series might have ended, but it’s not truly the end for the fantasy series as a brand new mobile game is on the way that tells a brand new story that takes place decades before the show.

Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is that very game – a strategy RPG that reunites your favourite characters too battle together in a wide variety of quests to protect the seven kingdoms.

Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall is an Upcoming Gacha Strategy RPG

It’s basically a gacha RPG, in which you use the magic of the weirwood trees to summon characters from throughout Westeros’s history. So far we know that Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Jaime Lannister, Melisandre, and Tormund Giantsbane will feature in the game – likely alongside many more.

You play as the new Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, who has to summon these heroes to keep the seven kingdoms safe. Battles take place on a grid, with you creating your favourite squad and unleashing each hero’s individual abilities to defeat your foes.

Alongside your heroes, you’ll gain troops from The Westerlands, Dorne, King’s Landing, and The Free Cities to bolster your armies. They can’t all be heroes, but that doesn’t mean recruits can’t act heroic.

Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall launches at some point in 2019, and you can pre-register right now on the App Store or Google Play. We’d also recommend checking out the official site for more information.
