Crazy Snowboard – Hit the slopes in this Plus+ enabled snowboarding game that has you grinding rails, doing flip tricks, and even smashing zombies! Normally 99 cents, this one is free in collaboration with greatappaday.com.

Dizzy Pad Koi Pond meets Doodle Jump in this survival game about a frog in a pond. Jump from one spinning lily pad to another and try to rack up the highest score possible. The frog prince previously sold for $1.99, but is now available for free.

MeteorMash – Who says we don’t have a viable space program anymore? Blast your way through a field of meteors and defend yourself against alien spacecraft in this vertical shooter. It’s free until May 1st. After that the price goes back up to 99 cents.

MiniSquadron Special Edition – Love aerial combat? The original MiniSquadron offered up a fan and frantic 2D take on the genre, but at a price. This brand new special edition? Just debuted on the App Store free of charge.

Roller Bug – Help a beetle bring food back to his nest by tilting your iDevice to guide him in the surprisingly pretty 3D labyrinth game. The game receives frequent updates and price changes, often reaching as high as $2.99. It’s free today only, and certainly well worth a sampling if only to help out the lost little beetle.

Tap Tap Ninja – Combine the deadly lives of ninjas with the frantic gameplay of Canabalt and you ‘ll get Tap Tap Ninja – a game all about surviving as long as you can through the use of simple one touch controls. This one is free today only courtesy of Openfeint’s Free Game a Day program, but normally goes for $1.99.
