The Bird came back. You thought he was a goner, but the Bird came back. Flappy Bird has come home to roost, and now you can play with a friend.

Flappy Birds Family is now available on Amazon App Store for Android courtesy of original Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen and his studio, DotGears. The game is compatible with Amazon’s Fire TV, and there are new obstacles to avoid, including ghosts (someone call Pac-Man!)

According to the Amazon App Store description for the game, “Flappy Birds now are on Amazon Fire TV with incredible new features: Person vs Person mode, more obstacles, more fun and still very hard. Enjoy playing the game at home (not breaking your TV) with your family and friends.”

Interestingly, there’s no indication Flappy Birds Family will see release on stores outside of the Amazon App Store. That may change, but for now, Flappy Birds Family is happily perched on Amazon. To be honest, it may even be exclusive to Amazon Fire TV. With the lack of information available at this time, we’re just not sure. But if so, that’s quite the coup for their fledgling new device.

Dong Nguyen pulled the original, wildly popular Flappy Bird from app stores because he feared the game was too addictive.

Flappy Birds Family is free to download, so prepare to get furious all over again – this time, with friends.
