Fairy Godmother Tycoon sequel shelved?

Fans of Pogo’s Fairy Godmother Tycoon have been eagerly awaiting a sequel, but it looks like they’ll have to wait a little longer – that is, if the project is still a "go" at all. Pogo fan site BadgeHungry.com is reporting that all references to the anticipated Fairy Godmother sequel – which has been called Fairy Godmother Tycoon Premium and Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked – have been removed from Pogo’s testing servers.

Fans of Pogo’s Fairy Godmother Tycoon have been eagerly awaiting a sequel, but it looks like they’ll have to wait a little longer – that is, if the project is still a "go" at all. Pogo fan site BadgeHungry.com is reporting that all references to the anticipated Fairy Godmother sequel – also called Fairy Godmother Tycoon Premium and Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked – have been removed from Pogo’s testing servers.

This doesn’t seem to bode well. "All that’s left are the badge images on their public and development servers; all of the rest of the usual developmental placeholder files have been removed," Lura from BadgeHungry.com told Gamezebo. "In the past this has meant the game was shelved for a while, in some cases indefinitely." (Badges are digital trophies awarded for playing Pogo.com games, similar to PlayFirst medals or Xbox 360 achievements.)

This could also explain why Pogo.com didn’t reply to Gamezebo’s request for more information about Fairy Godmother Tycoon Unlocked.
